My Clinical Experience
- Clinical social worker since 1993.
- Worked as a School Social Worker in Hong Kong before coming back to Australia in 1996.
- Working with families struggling with mental illness in children and young people, in both non-government and government organisations, since 1996.

- Extensive training in psychotherapy including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mentalisation-Based Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Solution-Focused Therapy and Strategic Therapy.
- Extensive training in Structural, Strategic, Systemic, Postmodern models of Family Therapy as well as Mentalisation-Based Therapy for Families.

- Over 500 hours of Training in Clinical Hypnosis including training delivered by Dr Michael Yapko, Dr Rob McNeily, Mr Bill O’Hanlon, Milton Erickson Foundation at Phoenix, Arizona and National Paediatric Hypnosis Training Institute at Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
- Certified as Gottman Therapist by Gottman Institute in Seattle, USA. Completed level 1, level 2 and level 3 Gottman Couple Therapy trainings; 2 years Gottman Couple Therapy Consultation from accredited Gottman Therapy consultant as well as being assessed as meeting the competency requirements of the Gottman Institute.
- Supervisor’s training in social work supervision, Supervisor’s training in systemic and family therapy supervision, Supervisor’s training in Mentalisation-Based Therapy for Families and train the trainer for “Adaptive Mentalisation Based Integrated Treatment” (AMBIT).
